Political Agendas Always Come FIRST! The Truth? Who Cares?

Secondhand Smoke, Lung Cancer, and the Global Warming Debate –

By S. Fred Singer   “…In the largest (in terms of statistical power), most detailed (in terms of results presented), and most transparent (in terms of information about its conduct) epidemiologic paper on SHS and mortality ever published in a major medical journal (in the May 17, 2003 issue of the British Medical Journal), UCLA Prof. James Enstrom found no significant relationship between secondhand smoke and lung cancer…”  Read the entire, very interesting article at:   http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/12/second_hand_smoke_lung_cancer.html

  1. Hi, Lisa,
I agree with you. I don’t think they should be banned everywhere – like in Atlantic City Casinos, the air is kept so clear of smoke there, it’s ridiculous to worry about it; but at least at this time they do have smoking sections. Restaurants mostly don’t allow it at all, & no reason they couldn’t have a section with tables & food service. Most stupid is not allowing it outdoors – as if that little bit of smoke will rush right into a nonsmoker’s nostrils and zoom into them; plus – smelled a bus lately?
Also agree inhaling it as a smoker isn’t what you’d call healthy, but a lot of people do a lot of things that would not be called “healthy.”
That being said, I wish you a Very MERRY CHRISTMAS! Nice “talking” with you.

  2. Merry Christmas!
I don’t like how smokers are being banned everywhere, it’s unfair that establishment can’t have a smoking section. That being said inhaling smoke can’t be all that healthy. It also has a lot to do with genes. Some people are more susceptible to carcinogens and others puff until the merry age of 103.
