Speaking from outside the first Super Committee meeting, Senator Thune said, “We gotta hope and pray that they can get this job done.”
When is the last time your boss or one of your clients looked at you pleadingly and said, “I hope and pray you can get this job done”? Ha! Fat Chance! You get the job done, and done well, or that paycheck or fee are in jeopardy!
Congress: We the People have elected you, and We the People pay you. Get this job done!
